Boy's Life, the official publication of The Boy Scouts of America, commissioned Rod Hunt to illustrate the visitors guide map for the National Scout Jamboree taking place at the Scott Summit Center July 15 - July 24, 2013. Visitors and participants received the map when they arrive on site.
The national jamboree is held once every four years & attended by 50,000 Scouts, Venturers, volunteers, and staff from all over the country for one big celebration of Scouting. Over 10 days, there are exhibits, stadium shows with entertainment, opportunities to work on merit badges. The guide map had to cover all the sections of the site, activities & attractions including Whitewater, climbing, zip lines, climbing, BMX, mountain biking, and more
