Mobile phone brand Three commissioned Rod Hunt to illustrate a fun, bright and impactful 2m x 1.6m printed mural of a busy London city street scene to celebrate phones, social media and our behaviours around them for their brand new Studio Three creative space underneath their flagship store on Oxford Street, London. Studio Three will be a working office space, a studio for digital creatives and an event space. The illustration needed to appeal to a young, social media native and tech-savvy audience around the theme 'PhoneAreGood’. Rod proposed creating a detailed Social Media meets London landscape that references many characters, memes and apps from the online world.
